Iterating what was already done in 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1999, we are pleased
to announce the
5th Bologna Workshop on:
CFT AND INTEGRABLE MODELS
and their applications to Quantum Field Theory,
Statistical Mechanics and Condensed Matter Physics
to be held at the Department of Physics
of Bologna University
(Italy), on September 26 - 29, 2001 (inclusive). The Workshop is
organized by the Bologna Theory Group
under the auspices of the University and of Bologna INFN
section. It is intended to promote the exchange of ideas at an advanced
technical level among researchers working in this rapidly evolving field.
Topics:
-
Exact Correlators: V.E.V.'s, Form Factors, Off-Critical
Null Vectors,...
-
Boundary Conformal and Integrable QFT and applications in
String Theory
-
Logarithmic CFT and its applications
-
CFT in higher Dimensions and applications to D-branes and
Strings
-
Finite Size Effects in Integrable QFT: TBA, TCSA, NLIE and
ODE/TBA correspondence
-
Quantum Inverse Scattering and Integrable Formulation
of CFT (BLZ)
-
Applications to Condensed Matter, Solid State physics, Statistical
Mechanics, Strings,...

-
Vladimir Fateev (Montpellier - France) (to be confirmed)
-
Giovanni Felder (ETH, Zurich - Switzerland)
-
Tetsuji Miwa (Kyoto - Japan)
-
Bernard Nienhuis (Amsterdam - Netherlands)

Besides a series of plenary talks (of approx. 1 hour), there will be room
for a number of short communications of 30 min. (including final discussion)
and a poster session. See the information
on talks page for more details about this.
If you wish to participate, please complete the application
form before August 27, 2001 .
On the same form you can also put your request to give a short communication
if interested. If your WWW browser does not support forms, send an e-mail
to conformal@bo.infn.it
Unfortunately, due to a limited budget we are not able to support travel,
living and accomodation expenses for the participants. They should therefore
be financially supported by their home institution.
