Iterating what was already done in 1993, 1995 and 1997, we are pleased
to announce the
4th Bologna Workshop on:
CFT AND INTEGRABLE MODELS
and their applications to Quantum Field Theory,
Statistical Mechanics and Condensed Matter Physics
to be held at the Department of Physics
of Bologna University (Italy),
on June 30 - July 3, 1999 (inclusive). The Workshop is organized
by the Bologna Theory Group under
the auspices of the University and of Bologna INFN
section. It is intended to be an informal exchange of ideas at an advanced
technical level among researchers working in this rapidly evolving field.
Topics:
-
Exact Correlators: Exact VEV's, Differential Equations for
Correlation Functions
-
Form Factors and Off-Critical Null Vectors: Dressing Symmetries,...
-
Boundary Integrable Field Theory: Boundary TCSA / TBA, Boundary
Flows
-
CFT Developments: Logarithmic CFT, Boundary CFT, CFT in Higher
Dimensions
-
Scaling Functions: TBA, DdV Equations, Excited States
-
Quantum Inverse Scattering: BLZ Reformulation of CFT, Applications
to Integrable Perturbations
-
Applications to Condensed Matter and Solid State physics,
Statistical Mechanics, Strings,...

Besides a series of plenary talks (of approx. 1 hour), there will be room
for a number of short communications of 30 min. (including final discussion)
and a poster session. See the information
on talks page for more details about this.
If you wish to participate, please complete the application
form before May 15, 1999 .
On the same form you can also put your request to give a short communication
if interested. If your WWW browser does not support forms, send an e-mail
to conformal@bo.infn.it
Unfortunately, due to a limited budget we are not able to support travel,
living and accomodation expenses for the participants. They should therefore
be financially supported by their home institution.
