Integrability in higher dimensions: Skyrmions and Hopfions

Abstract

After a short upadate of the proposal with Orlando Alvarez and L. Ferreira to generalize zero curvature to higher dimensions, we present the latest results of the applications to Skyrme theory and its restriction to the 2-sphere, and to related models with exact Hopfion solutions.
