Boundary perturbations in Liouville theory

Abstract

We will discuss examples for boundary perturbations in Liouville theory and the RG flows generated by them. For nearly marginal perturbations one may use conformal perturbation theory, allowing one to determine the end point of the corresponding flows perturbatively. We also observe an interesting relation between Dirchlet and Neumann type boundary conditions in Liouville theory. A simple RG flow expresses this relation.
