At the base camp, gamma rays from cosmic and environmental radiation have been continuously monitored on time scale of 15 minutes, in the 0.05-3 MeV and in the 3-10 MeV energy bands. The 0.05-3 MeV gamma ray spectrum, measured nearby the lake Cheko, shows daughter radionuclides from the U-238 and the Th-232 chains (See paper, 582 kb).
