A 3-D image of the bottom of the lake Cheko.
The bottom topography of the lake was obtained using a digital single-beam echo sounder. The image clearly reveals a conical
structure of the bottom. This morphology together with other hints suggest that the lake fills an impact crater.
This hypothesis is illustrated in a paper accepted for publication in Terra Nova.
