Moscow military airport, 29th of July 1999: Third custom inspection of the luggage of the Tunguska99 Scientific expedition.
Twenty hours later, the aircraft obtained the permission for depature, but the custom confiscated the rock and the lacustrine sediment samples collected in Tunguska. Four months elapsed and, eventually, the numberous bureaucratic requirements necessary to obtain the release of the samples were cleared up. Thanks to the efficiency of the Russian Authorities the samples left Moscow for Bruxelles on the 3rd of December 1999. The 7-th of December 1999, after a brief inspection performed by the Italian custom, the samples were released to the Department of Physics of the University of Bologna.
