The TUNGUSKA91 Expedition
(20 July - 1 August 1991)

The first Italian expedition (S. Cecchini, M. Galli, G. Longo, and R. Serra) has collected wood samples to search in tree resin for micro particles from the cosmic body. The time distributions of the embedded particles, clearly showing peaks centred on 1908, made it possible to recognize a first list of 14 elements as probable constituents of the Tunguska body.
